Experience With Saily
We tried Saily in September 2024 during our travels in Thailand. Our experience was okay, but the eSIM didn't work at first.
Right away, we contacted customer support for help. After roughly one hour, we were told our device wasn't compatible with the eSIM. As our device was supposed to be compatible, we kept digging into the Help Centre documentation.
We found a way to make it work by changing the Preferred network type. We restarted the device, and then it worked.

They also have a convenient app. However, as we prefer the desktop version, we purchased our plan on the website.
Buying An ESIM On Saily
When we find a plan we like, we can purchase it quickly without going through many clicks/pages.
You'll have a few options for payment:

Once the transaction is completed, you can install and activate your plan right away. You'll get clear steps and guidelines to help you install your eSIM via the application.
If you wish to see how much data you have left, simply go back to Saily's app, and you'll be able to see your plan under the eSIMs tab.
Connection
After the installation, the Internet connection didn't work, so we contacted the customer service. Thankfully, they answered quickly.
But, after 56 minutes, the staff concluded that our device was incompatible with their eSIM.
We didn't give up and started reading more information about how to fix this issue in the Help Centre. We finally managed to connect by changing the preferred network type from 5G to 3G and restarting the device.
This means the connection isn't the fastest, but it works.
Depending on the destination, the Internet speed may differ.
You can't find the supported networks on the website or the app. However, you can always ask the support to find out the networks supported by your eSIM.
Customer Service And Support
We contacted the support via the app to get help because the eSIM didn't work initially, and we got an answer in 2 minutes. At first, we thought it was excellent.
However, after 56 minutes, no solutions were found, and the staff ended the chat.
Thankfully, we found a solution and got the eSIM to work by reading more information in the Help Centre.
Saily Honest Opinion
We've tried in 2024, and our experience was okay. In the end, the eSIM worked, but it required patience and time. Once we were connected, everything was fine.
